who are we?
604 Scaffold is a small Surrey based rental company built for the residential and light commercial applications. We come from construction ourselves.. the same scaffold we now rent, we used to build with on our own jobs for years. After watching contractors and homeowners spend a week's labour and thousands of dollars in lumber building one-time wood scaffolds that got tossed at the end of every project, we built the rental we'd want to use: solid steel frame scaffold, delivered curbside within days, simple to setup, month-to-month after the first month, picked up when you're done. We don't rent lifts, shoring, or industrial equipment. Just frame scaffold, done right, for the contractors, homeowners and trades who need it.
We rent everything needed to build a safe access scaffold from the ground up and nothing you don't. Our fleet is galvanized steel HDG frame scaffold with all the supporting components: cross braces, solid decks, worm pins for locking frames together, screwjacks for leveling on uneven ground, and heavy-duty locking casters for rolling tower configurations. Every other typical scaffold component is also available individually if your job needs a different configuration. Standard service includes curbside delivery and pickup. Optional add-ons: setup labour, takedown labour, and extended-area delivery.Renting scaffold from us is built around how trades and homeowners actually want to work. 1. Text us ABOUT your project
Send your project address, what scaffold you need (or what height you need to reach and the width of it), when you need it and your email, all over text. That's the entire intake form.
2. REVIEW YOUR QUOTE
We send a written quote within hours. Check the gear, dates, and price. If something's off, tell us, and we'll adjust.
3. Approve and pay YOUR DEPOSIT
Once the quote's right, we send a deposit invoice. You pay first month's rent plus a refundable security deposit by credit card. We lock in your delivery date.
4. We deliver. You (OR WE) build. We pick up.
Scaffold arrives curbside on your scheduled day. Use it for as long as you need, month-to-month, no minimum after the first month. When you're done, call us. We come get it.
WHAT'S IN OUR YARD?
The full inventory, everything we carry to support residential and light commercial frame scaffold work. Popular configurations are bundled to make ordering simple; every component is also available individually if your job needs a custom setup. All delivered curbside from our Surrey yard.
FRAMES & STRUCTURE
- Galvanized Steel Frames (5×5 and 5×3 are the most popular): The foundation of every setup. Stackable for height, a typical residential job is two or three frames stacked. We carry other sizes too if your project needs something specific.
- Cross Braces: Steel braces that lock between frames to keep the tower rigid and square. Sized to match the width of the frames you're using. Two per level.
- Decks: The platforms you actually stand on. 7ft for tighter setups, 10ft for longer reach along a wall. Engineered for working loads, not just standing weight.
LEVELING & MOBILITY
- Screwjacks: Hollow steel jacks that thread into the base of frames. Used to level scaffold on uneven ground such as sloped driveways, lawns, gravel pads, anything that isn't dead flat. Without them, the whole tower goes out of plumb.
- Heavy-Duty Locking Casters: Wheels for rolling tower setups. For when you need to move the scaffold along a wall or around a corner without disassembling. Each caster locks independently.
- Pig Tails (Worm Pins): Locking pins that connect frames vertically when you stack them. One per joint. Keeps the tower from separating under load.
INCLUDED WITH EVERY RENTAL
- Curbside Delivery (within 30 km of our Surrey yard): We drop the scaffold curbside at your jobsite address on the scheduled day. You handle offloading and placement on the work area.
- Curbside Pickup (within 30 km): When you're done, equipment goes back to the same curbside location, stacked together for pickup. Call us when ready, we'll schedule it.
- Month-to-Month Billing: First month paid up front. After that, the rental continues month-to-month until you call for pickup. No long-term commitments.
ANCILLARY
- Debris chutes for material removal from elevated work
- Bundled rolling tower configurations available for common job types
- Railing systems (top rail, mid-rail, toe boards) and ladder access for tower setups
- Setup Labour (per frame): Our crew erects the scaffold on delivery. Most customers DIY this, we offer the service for jobs where you'd rather not handle setup yourself.
- Takedown Labour (per frame): Same idea on the back end
- Extended-Area Delivery (beyond 30 km): Jobs outside our standard radius are billed at a per-km surcharge from the yard.
